Originally founded in 1965, Endsleigh has since grown to become one of the UK's leading independent intermediaries. We believe in building real relationships with our customers, and making lifelong connections. It all started with students – we’re the UK’s leading student insurer, and the only provider recommended by the NUS. We’ve been insuring students since 1965, and over the years we’ve grown up and diversified, just like our customers. As their lives change, we’re with them – whatever they drive, wherever they live, and wherever they travel.

We now provide a comprehensive range of insurance products not only for homeowners and private individuals, but also for businesses, charities, educational establishments, local authorities, community groups, sports associations, landlords, and much, much more. We also offer independent financial advice to help our customers with mortgages, pensions, investments and the other personal finance products they need as they go through their lives.

Since 2006 we have been wholly owned by Zurich Insurance plc, one of the world's leading providers of insurance solutions. Our relationship with them means that we have the ability to offer leading edge products at competitive prices, and the career opportunities that naturally come from being part of a truly global business. However because we still retain our own strong brand and are run as a separate business, we are also able to be nimble, quickly responsive to market changes, and can retain the culture of a smaller business where individual ideas and contributions are noticed and valued.
